Dear Friends and Partners,
America is at a spiritual crossroads, and nowhere is this more evident than in the lives of our young people. While it is easy to assume the next generation is walking away from faith, the data tells a more hopeful story: 3 out of 4 Gen Z young adults say they want to grow spiritually. The hunger for God is real, but the leadership to guide it is missing.
We live in an age where information is at everyone's fingertips. Gen Z absorbs a constant stream of teaching through a plethora of digital mediums, yet they are recorded to be the loneliest generation in history. They do not just need more information; they need presence.
As the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 4:15, "Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers." A teacher provides a lecture, but a father provides an identity. Currently, our society faces a massive leadership crisis, with over 80% of young adults believing there is a shortage of good leaders today.
To heal our Land, we cannot simply point the next generation toward a digital screen or an absent teacher. We must be present in their lives. At JAMA, we are not just building programs; we are providing the deep, relational mentorship and spiritual fathering that give this generation the courage to bring healing to America.
Your partnership isn't just a donation; it is an investment in the "spiritual fathers and mothers" who will walk beside these students and call out the greatness God has placed within them.
