Danny Kwon serves as the Senior Director of Youth Ministry Content and Cross Cultural Initiatives for Rooted Ministry (https://rootedministry.com/).  Before joining Rooted, he served as Youth and Family Pastor at Yuong Sang Church, a bicultural, bilingual Korean-American congregation outside Philadelphia for 29 years. He is married to Monica, a Christian counselor, and psychologist, and they have three children. He has authored three books, including A Youth Worker's Field Guide to Parents: Understanding Parents of Teenagers, and Mission Tripping: A Comprehensive Guide to Youth Ministry Short Term Missions. He also serves as an adjunct professor of Youth Ministry at Eastern University, is a certified ministry coach, has contributed to various publications, has spoken at ministry conferences across the world, and has mentored 28 youth ministry pastoral interns over the years at his church. Danny holds graduate degrees from Westminster Seminary, Covenant Seminary, and Eastern University. His doctoral dissertation focused on innovation theory and intergenerational youth ministry paradigms in the local church.  He enjoys sports, eating, reading, and making people laugh, and he now is a youth ministry volunteer in his local church.

Dr. Benjamin C. Shin is a co-founder of Global Leadership Development Institute (GLDI) and an Associate Professor of Bible Exposition at Talbot School of Theology. He is the lead pastor of The Bridge at New Life Vision Church. He has served in the ministry as a pastor, parachurch leader, and professor for the last 20-plus years. He is a graduate of UCLA, Talbot School of Theology, and Dallas Theological Seminary. His vision and passion include mentoring leaders, rebuilding churches, and teaching the Word of God. His interests include Asian ministry and theology and helping the Church have an impact in the world. He is married to his wonderful wife, Jen, and has two sons, Adam and Zachary.

Paul E. Kim is an Assistant Director in the Cyber/Market Abuse Units of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., where he oversees a team of attorneys who investigate, prosecute, and litigate various violations of the federal securities laws. Paul’s better half is Jenny and together they have three children, Noelle Catherine, Lucy Emmanuelle, and John Edward, who keep things busy and fun. Paul is also an ordained elder and the Sunday Worship Services Director at his church in Northern Virginia, Christ Central Presbyterian (PCA).

Dr. Angela Lee is an alumna of the 2007 GLDI inaugural class and has served in various capacities at JAMA/GLDI. She received her masters and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation, normalizing mental health in the Asian community, and equipping leaders in the church. She enjoys exploring Atlanta and spending time with her husband, Josh, a GLDI alum from 2007. 

Sam Bay is currently serving as the associate pastor at Grace Hill Church in Buena Park, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCSD and his Master of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology. He is happily married to his wife Angela and they have two boys Ezra and Zack. He is a GLDI alum from 2009.

John Kim has served in youth ministry in Hawaii, Massachusetts, and California. He was born in Los Angeles but was raised in Hawaii until he moved to Boston to receive his Master of Divinity from Boston University. He is currently active in serving the youth and the next generation to seek a Spirit-filled and Spirit-formed life. He is married to his wonderful and talented artist wife Mariah and is serving at a house church network in Los Angeles. His current interests are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dodger Baseball, good coffee, and spiritual revival in America. John is a GLDI alum from 2014.

Kevin Bae serves as a Youth/Administrative Pastor at Korean Central Presbyterian Church in the San Francisco area. Before northern California, he was in Boston, where he served a small local church and received his pastoral education. Before Boston, Pastor Kevin was a high school teacher in Connecticut and loved working with students. Besides studying the Bible, he enjoys searching for good coffee, photography, and watching random dog videos/pictures. 

Keving is a GLDI alum from 2014. 

Joseph is a relapsed software engineer at a startup called Claim. Previously, he studied mechanical engineering as an undergrad at Yale University and wandered from management consulting to North Korean nonprofit advocacy to hardware venture capital while getting an MBA at Harvard. Now in NYC, Joseph is passionate about figuring out what it means to faithfully live in this world but not be of it - and help others do the same. Joseph is a GLDI alum from 2012.

Dylan Hwang grew up as a missionary kid from Mongolia, and lived most of his life in Northern Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2017. He returned to his alma mater to serve in campus ministry at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. He now works as an IT consultant at Ernst and Young. He is waiting for an opportunity for God to send him to missions. He is a GLDI alum from 2016.

Cathy Rabb is the Dean of Operations of GLDI and Executive Vice President of JAMA. She has spearheaded JAMA Youth Leadership conferences, New Awakening conferences and regional conferences across the nation. Ms. Rabb received her B.A. in English at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. She is passionate about helping others see God's goodness and His wonderful trustworthiness. She also enjoys finding good eats and spending time with her husband, David.

Hyon Ji is an alumna of GLDI 2019. She is married to Yi Ram Kim, an alumnus of GLDI 2016. Hyon Ji currently attends seminary at Dallas Theological, studying to become an Army Chaplain. Recently discharged from Active Duty, she is now in Dallas, TX serving in the Reserves. She enjoys drawing and graphic design. She also loves the gym, hiking, and her two dogs. 

Deborah Kim is a graduate of GLDI 2014 and has been volunteering every year since then. Born, raised and residing in Los Angeles, she played and coached high school volleyball, studied architecture at University of Southern California, and studied spiritual formation at Talbot School of Theology. Currently, she is pursuing an acting career because she believes in the need for Christian ambassadors in the industry with so much cultural influence. Her aim is to live a life led and empowered by the love of Jesus, and hopes to inspire others to do the same!
